Contest Rules

1. There is no limit to the amount of videos a person can submit or win. We encourage creativity that shows others what the Parkland trout fishing experience means to you in a 1 minute video.
Submission opens Sept 1, 2017.

2. Submit videos to or send on a drive to box 352 Roblin MB R0L 1P0 with the subject as Parkland Trout Video. Include your first and last name and where you're from.

3. All videos submitted consent to promotional use by Parkland Trout Fisheries' supporting partners.

Content Criteria
1. Clean quality shots (above and/or below water surface) of big trout, hook sets, quick landings, sustainable handling and release
methods, traveling from one lake to another, discernible lake characteristics, big smiles, and other such goodness which promotes Parkland's trout fisheries in a positive manner.

1. The contest is open to everyone and for all types of trout fishing on Parkland aerated trout lakes. The Parkland aerated trout lakes include: Anton's, Corstorphine, Tokaryk, Patterson, East Goose, West Goose, Persse, & Twin.

2. Trout must be caught legally (must have MB fishing license, barb-less hook, and follow lake regulations such as electric motor, no live bait and/or artificial lures.

3. Trout must be released and in the video should appear to be in good shape for surviving being released.

4. We encourage quality videos that capture discernible lake characteristics, the style of fishing, and display the catch, film and release of trout well.

1st Place - $1,500.

2nd Place - $900.

3rd Place - $500.

Runner Up - $100.

1. Submissions/Contest closes July 5, 2018 at 12pm.

Video Adjudication
1. Parkland Trout Fisheries' supporting partners reserves discretion to award placements based on quantity and quality of submissions.

2. Runner Ups may be contacted for additional information concerning their submission(s).

3. Any doubt on behalf of Parkland Trout Fisheries' supporting partners regarding the content and eligibility of a video submitted, the video will be considered ineligible. We encourage film which supports geographically distinguishable content proving lake location(s).

Winners Announcement
1. Winners will be announced on Parkland Trout Fisheries facebook page commencing August 1, 2018.

1. Video contest winners will be paid by cheque by the Municipality of Roblin or the Municipality of Rossburn and be contacted prior to the winners announcement

2. Total Prize payout is based on a minimum of 15 eligible video submissions.
